Body Sculpting

Tumescent liposuction is used to remove the bulk of the superficial fat present (About 50-70% of the pinchable tissue. It does not remove visceral fat).

After the fat is removed, the tissue is left with a loose fibroseptal network or FSN (the connective tissue that held the fat cells in place and connects muscle to skin). This can present as loose skin-especially if you’ve experienced weight fluctuations, including pregnancy.

Morpheus 8

Morpheus8 uses radiofrequency and microneedling through the skin to coagulate fat, strengthen the FSN, and promote collagen. It helps further reduce fat remaining after liposuction, and addresses cellulite, wrinkles, scars, loose skin, and stretch marks. Many patients also report faster healing time and less drainage when adding Morpheus8.

what can i expect?

Oral medications are taken prior to starting the procedure. A tumescent solution containing lidocaine is placed under the skin to numb the treatment area from skin to muscle wall. Typically, numbing the area is the most uncomfortable part. After numbing is allowed to take effect, liposuction is done first, then Renuvion, then Morpheus. Aftercare with skin tightening is very similar to liposuction, however it is normal to have increased tenderness while the gasses from Renuvion are absorbed. Itching and a rash or grid like appearance is common while skin heals after Morpheus. Vaseline or Aquaphor should be applied to the area until it resolves.

Is there more I can do to help improve my results?
